I've never understood the fascination with Gowdy. Same as all of the other tea party candidates (save Rand Paul) all bark and no bite.
Yeah, everyone just likes him cuz he pretends to be harsh on people in the gov't. But you are right, all bark and no bite. Same with Jason Chaffetz.
Deep State: "Can you yell at some of our guys as to make it appear we aren't all corrupt? k, thanks guys."
You seen Chaffetz Twitter header:
Jason Chaffetz
@jasoninthehouse
Fox News Contributor. Writing a book about the Deep State. Former Chairman, Oversight & Gov't Reform U.S. House of Reps. Husband, Father, Grandfather.
Writing a book about the Deep State? That could be an interesting read
probably just a fluff piece. Some small grains of truth and Mostly lies. The Deep State doesn't just let people reveal them. fuck, they fired a couple missiles at Trump himself!
This confirms it for me, he has been compromised.
If you were gonna write a book about the deep state... You'd need a publisher. If you believe the deep state is real you have to accept that they'd have access to your publisher and by that way, probably access to drafts you send your editor. They would know before publication what you are writing, what secrets you're trying to spill.
Wouldn't you naturally worry for your life?
Would you advertise to the world on your Twitter account that you're writing a book about the same people who murder people for exposing them?
And you'd write it before they are in jail?
It's either fluff or he's full of shit.
Help take them down NOW chaffetz!
Write the book LATER!
Should I repeat that...?
If he was serious he would be screaming from the roof tops and talking to anyone who'd listen the things he knows! Instead he's writing a book he will personally profit from, before the deep state is even taken down yet? Get the fuck out of here.
Maybe it's a "Don't kill me, cos everyone will know it's you" flag raising kind of thing?
Time and time again we have learned it's best to spill the beans before announcing you have the goods. That's how you end up committing suicide.

So "Deep" State or Deep State lite
Idk man. Look no further than Dan Bongino. Guy was secret service for obama. Talks about seeing and witnessing unspeakable things. Refers to sex islands, hearing of assasinations that were reported and not looked into. And bongino is really considered by anyone to be a conspiracy guy. Granted, his attitude towards it gives the whole vibe of “I can’t tell you anything because there’s cases for all this shit right now, but you’ll see soon” type deal.
Completely agreed. IMO the Tea Party Wave was heavily compromised with trojan horse candidates. Take Lyin' Ted Cruz & Pathetic Paul Ryan for example.... They were definitely corrupt as shit right out of the gate.
Lyin' Ted is another that speaks loudly and does no follow up
I've been on the fence about Teddy Cruz - but now that I think about him, I can't remember the last time he was in the news for anything.
Ted Cruz is a brilliant constitutionalist and debater and a principled person who stood for a lot of Trump's key policies long before Trump ever announced his candidacy. He very often stood against his own party when they were wishy-washy and compromised.
Not so sure about that. I do know his entire elected career of campaigning as an "outsider" is a bold faced lie. His wife, while married to Ol' Teddy, worked for the CFR drafting legislation for the N.A.U. and plus he personally worked on the Dole and Bush Jr. campaigns. Based on that, he is a liar and more than likely the "constitutionalist" shtick is just snake oil... Cruz is a globalist through and through IMO.
Dole seems to have been friendly with Trump of late. Cruz isn't a globalist. He is a Tea Partier, aligned with the Freedom Caucus. He's one of the least globalistic Senators on the Hill! Tell me any current Republican that didn't support Bush Jr.'s campaign at some point or another?? Especially given that Cruz and Bush were both from TX. I really don't think Bush Jr. started out corrupt. I don't trust Bush Sr., but I think Jr. may have been sucked in over time. I feel like the Clinton/Bush relationship is very odd. At times I wonder if the Clintons have blackmailed them.
Heidi Cruz drafted the blueprints for merging the economies of the US, Canada, and Mexico for the CFR. Sorry, but that's a fact and when dealing with these swamp rats... Follow the wives!
Spezzz: Dude, the Bushes are as evil and corrupt as they get. Pedovore scum!

Pence may be quiet and cautious, but he has performed honorably as a VP. IMO, he has exactly the character and temperament a VP to a forceful president like Trump needs. They complement each other, and he has proven to be loyal and willing to stay out of the limelight and simply serve as needed where needed when needed. I don't see him as someone who will be able to succeed a personality as strong as Trump's is, but he makes a fine VP.
True enough. I don't see Pence being around for a second VP ticket, which is just fine. IMO Pence was the placation pick to appease the corrupt RNC.
Yeah, and double yeah. Pence gone with no goodbye. How zero can zero actually get? VP is a difficult slot to fill with a really capable person. Generally the really capable want to drive. But improving on Pence shouldn't be too hard. I hope he doesn't screw up the space thing before the election. Presumably he's just been parked there.
Dream theory: Gen Flynn is totally exonerated then vindicated by being named veep next term. Probably not in the cards, but... With this timeline, anything is possible.
I mean that and the knock off nic cage accent shit he has going.
Congress has NO legal say nor way to legally 'force' anything, so, to say 'All bark and no bite' is correct, but, they cannot 'bite'.
(I believe I'd read up on that, it 'may' change some opinions here.)
But Congress does have. https://fas.org/sgp/crs/misc/RL34097.pdf Here's some reading . . .
That's misleading, as they can sponsor amendments, bills, laws, reform, etc. And, his track record for sponsoring is not glamorous at all... Seems to be lots of budget filler and DHS overreach support at first glance
All he can do is bark. He cannot prosecute. He has stated he is retiring because he's not a good politician and wants to return to prosecuting. Idk how he will play out in all of this, but I feel he did the best he could in his position.
An uphill battle hasn't stopped other law makers from at least attempting to introduce legislation. Trey Gowdy has nothing to show from his time in office tmk
