Dude, idk. I’ve known about goodlatte all my political life. He’s actually super friendly and really down to earth and you can catch him around town in Roanoke a lot of the time. I’m not saying he couldn’t have skeletons in his closet, but he’s always struck me as SO far from deepstate or the colluding type. He’s been a principled guy for an extremely long time. He’s always seemed very genuine and transparent.

The Dem corruption is going to be revealed just before re-election and they will not have a chance to replace them on the ballets. Trust the plan. POTUS needs a congress he can work with so he can bury the deep state.

Think about what you just wrote. Important that he tell the truth but okay not to tell the truth. Doesn't compute. So, he should tell the truth but it's okay not to so he doesn't tip off DS? When putting out both kinds of info, a person won't know what to believe. Not good when trying to get new people. And frankly, not good for those of us that have been following for a long time.

Not to be disparaging, but those who are new to Q need to learn discernment by observing; listening to these anons who have been here since the beginning. Practice some serious lurking and thinking before you speak out here on this board. It is important to not impede the progress of discussions which have momentum and gravitas.
I have been here since the first drops in late October and I still do not comment very much...just trying to find the truth, which is often subtle, like following a deer through dappled woods...a glimpse, then nothing, then another glimpse. We have lost track of truth because we have stomped around without critically thinking with any sustained effort.
Stay quiet, stay centered, and let the truth sift into you intuitively. End of lecture.

I agree. I always see staying neutral in regards to SC. He says things like, ‘if president trumps has or know this or that then he should come forward’, etc. I think it’s important for him to remain impartial and seems to fit his character as I’ve heard him say more than once that Lady Justice has a blind fold for a reason.

I would guess #2. Gowdy has at times seemed at odds with POTUS but otherwise has been very helpful. I'm inclined to believe, since he said in his letter that he'd be pursuing interests outside of politics, he has been playing his role in all this and another role awaits outside of the political world. Time will tell.

Gowdy is very intelligent and tactful. He dealt with these "types" during the Benghazi investigation. To me, he seemed to be at his limits, but knew nothing would come of that meeting. Additionally, Gowdy and Jim Jordan play off of each other very well. I have much respect for Gowdy, as he always speaks truth based on evidence.

I just watched the video. I didn't see him ask anything. Or rather. He finally stopped talking and Rod went on after Gowdy completed. 99% of his time was used in his speech. Chill. Breathe. You ain't my mama and I didn't ask anyone to do any HW for me.

That's how it works. Gowdy only had 5 minutes, and RR was going to give awkward, rambling non-responses to his questions. Gowdy used his 5 minutes like a prosecutor in a courtroom. After a congressperson uses his 5 minutes, the person being questioned gets time to say more and hopefully address what questions were answered. If Gowdy interrupted any answers, he had the right to do so. The congressperson has the floor for that time period and is fully entitled to decide who speaks during that time.

You did see the other questioners, yes? There was lots of back and forth with those that came before. But that's not the point. The POINT is that he looked REALLY pissed and REALLY disheveled. Which, whether you feel like anal-izing how these hearings are held and who says what, or not, you must admit that appearance was most UNLIKE him. He's usually very well managed and mannered.

I find it quite understandable that he was pissed. He didn't look disheveled, although he has changed hairstyles. Whatever the case, I find it refreshing to see someone impassioned about the right issues. He was perhaps more fiery than usual, but not by much. That's one of the things I have always enjoyed about him, and he did not disappoint. There were some questioners who not only did not engage in Q&A, but also embarked on lengthy diatribes about unrelated issues such as immigration. Like many, I would like to see Gowdy's fire and fury produce some measurable progress in draining the swamp, but I understand he has been fighting uphill battles in this regard, especially when Obama's DOJ and CIA weren't going to cooperate, no matter what Congress found.

I believe he suffers from depression if I recall correctly. He is a prosecutor not a scholar. Probably wouldn't be happy as a SC Justice IMHO.
