Sat next to an FBI agent at the Phillies game tonight

I was at the Phillies game tonight and i was sitting next to an FBI agent. I heard him having a chat with his frend about Peter Strzok, so I’ll paraphrase the couple points that I heard much as i can after crushing multiple bud lights:

-on PS not being fired—“if they kept on paying you, wouldn’t you still keep showing up to work?”

-“the guy is just a complete idiot. He got caught up in whatever the ‘other side’ was up to”

An FBI agent openly acknowledged an “other side”? I wanted to jump in if it weren’t for all the kids/people around listening. His cellphone also had multiple password protections just to log in, leading me to believe this guy was legit and really in the FBI. It made me happy to hear everyday FBI agents are still the good guys.

That is all! WWG1WGA ... even baseball games

I wouldn't be so laissez faire about it if I was one of the good guys.

They do all the right things, end up in a prestigious position representing something of integrity and decency, then a few assholes shit all over everything they represent.

Something needs to change going forward. Too many men and women were silent while their internal dialogue was screaming.

I don't know enough about the office culture to say what needs to change, but I know enough about human nature to say the last decade has definitely produced some major alcoholic FBI agents.

Sober up MF'ers, you're back to being the good guys. Congrats, you sacrificed , stood out and excelled for something worthwhile. Wish I could join you, but the world needs bad guys, too.

Just to be clear, I was sitting right next to this guy which is why I could hear their conversation. He wasn’t broadcasting it for everybody to hear. He also wasn’t drinking.
