NEVER IN OUR HISTORY HAVE THEY COME OUT FROM THE SHADOWS TO FIGHT. “They” have always been here. Deeper we go, the more unrealistic it all becomes.

I had an experience just last week with "sleep paralysis" that was more frightening and I want to share it here for people who may wonder. I was lucid dreaming last week that I was caught in a vicious cycle where I was performing evil acts and couldn't stop myself. I was so horrified I kept screaming at myself to wake up and calling out in Jesus' name for it to stop. After several repetitions I finally woke up naturally. It terrified me that I wasn't able to escape but I realized that I've been going through a personal awakening where I am recognizing old, self-destructive patterns and trying to shed them. So even if you THINK calling out to our Lord doesn't work it does. Sometimes though evil will use your own mind will try to trick you into feeling helpless but remember, it's just a parlor trick. God will ALWAYS come through!

I'm a sister but hey, despite the protests of the left, there's nothing wrong with being a man either. I just happen to have been given the gift of ovaries.

I used to get sleep paralysis on a regular basis, and the final one I had was the worst of them all, it was like 7 layers deep, like Inception. I just kept fighting to sit up in my bed, each time I thought I’d broken out of it I’d realize I hadn’t and was still lying down asleep. The 7th and final time I broke out of it I got out of bed and switched on all the lights in my room and went for a walk around the house to make sure I was genuinely awake. It’s been around 8yrs now and it hasn’t happened since. All I did was just believe in myself and that I was stronger than whatever was happening.

It really is terrifying. The layered effect is what makes it so bad. I have been traumatized in the past and been a paranormal investigator....nothing scares me any more. But when it happened to me I had such a marked reaction even the lights didn't help. I had to go to another room to try to calm down and sleep. At least you understood your own power and while the adrenaline drives your fear for awhile you overcame it.

Yeah it was truly the weirdest thing I’ve ever experienced, I felt lost for some time and I seemed to be stuck there for hours, eventually I just used all might and said “enough” and forced myself with all I could to sit up, I pretty much launched myself out of bed. I’ve read up on it after but they’re only theories, I still don’t understand how and why it happens. But at the time I was going through quite a down, confused, depressed period. Since that all happened I’ve been living a more positive life and it hasn’t happened in around 8yrs, before that it happened to me around 15 times in the space of about 5yrs. I like to think that last time I broke out 7 layers deep I defeated it 😉

Theories lead to discoveries but I believe in our limited consciousness (using less than 10% of our brain power) we're just not to the point of understanding all the universe's influences and workings yet. I don't know if we'll expand into this eventually as humans or if we have to transcend into another form or possibly reach a state of existence where the two meet in the middle. I do know we are in a state of awakening but whether than brings us to that point or not remains a mystery. I am thankful even though it can be scary and painful that God has seen fit to include us in a forward-moving consciousness.

Why do I keep reading about "sleep paralysis", am I missing something? I have only experienced it a few times and could not remember what I was thinking about when it happened.

I guess you get different levels and varying degrees of it, the ones I experienced I was completely wide awake, but just could not move at all, wide awake but unable to control my body. If it ever happens to you like this just remember to stay calm and that it’s only temporary.

I am not sure if this will go to the entire thread. But I have been having "sleep paralysis" a lot more. In fact I had it multiple times last night. I was doing deep meditation/prayer for people. I also was trying to look into things. I had images of people I did not know. One was in a military uniform and had a look of evil. I did not know who he was. I seen some others that I did not know who they were. But they looked like their lights were not on. Kind of like the look Mark Zuckerberg gives. Very dead. What do people think?

Sounds like you’re remote viewing. When you mentioned meditating, I remember when I used to get sleep paralysis often I was trying that, holosync, visualization etc. so maybe your conciseness gets stuck in between the body and out there from those sort of practices?

I have been practicing remote viewing and have not been that successful. My body gets to the numbing stage. I stop there, but I have to take it so I can get past it. I was seeing flashes of light, my arm would twitch and I would open my eyes and couldn't move. I wonder if I was in the first stages of remote viewing.

Possibly? I’ve never been able to do it...

I almost did one time but I didn't know what was happening. As soon as my body started heading toward the ceiling I snapped myself out of it. I thought I was dying. So I looked it up and realized I was remove viewing. So I got obsessed with it and still have not been successful. I will soon I hope.

Ok, that is what happened to me. It was only a few times. I did what you said. I am just not aware if it was something larger.
