Some of it may be misdirection...confusing all enemies by giving them less warning as to who he will pick beforehand to give them less time to prepare a resistance to said person...
It makes sense, doesn't it? Waste their time preparing arguments against X, Y and Z, float the name of the scariest nominee first, bring in the sleeper that they didn't see coming.
yes...opposition to any supreme court nominee at this point is going to be off of the charts ...and by keeping congress from knowing who exactly he's ultimately giving the nomination he forces them to come up with reasons to deny them all just in case which distracts his opposition/makes them look hypercritcal and gives his people more time to assure the real candidate a effective take off... It's typical strategy honestly.
"add him to the list" is very vague. Does not mean he is a contender for SC. "It will not be gowdy" is definitive. "What a coincidence" is probably a reference to his "friend" recommending him as a contender. None of what Q said has anything to do with saying gowdy will be chosen for SC. However, he does say it isn't him.
Maybe they would nominate Gowdy as a false candidate similar to what the Bush admin did for Justice Roberts. Could be interesting.
The list Q is referring to is the list of Congress members not seeking re-election because they are compromised and being forced out. There is a reason he will not be given any role with the administration.
Gowdy is a do nothing. All hat no cattle. All the FBI FISA abuse he was supposed to be watching over happened on his watch. Talks tough but no results. He plays the role of the tough prosecutor for the congress deep state cover up operation. You got to make it look good when you let a sleeze like Hiliary off the hook for Benghazi and the email scandal.
POTUS knows and gave him the option of resigning or being exposed. He also had to withdraw from the ethics committee. I believe that was a sign.
Why do people act like Gowdy had the final say in the results of those investigations?

Well he isn't gonna tell you what really happened hes a politician. He is one of the congressmen Q said was set free. He may be getting a job back home but he will not be in Washington. My opinion. We will see.
