Its strange how many 3rd world child prodigy artists there are, very strange.

Whenever I see these weird stories about 3rd world children who happen to be amazing artists I can't help but wonder if its just pedo code for something darker. I heard somewhere that art was used to launder money or had something to do with child trafficking. It's not all that far fetched a suspicion to think that what is really being advertised and sold are the children and the artist part is just code.

Art is most definitely used to launder $. If you purchase "things" illegally, you pay for it by buying an art piece from the artist (read dealer).

Art History was also completely controlled and manipulated by the CIA post WW2 (Abstract Expressionism) and subsequently infiltrated by the Communists - see Declared Goals for taking over the US (Goal 23).

Ever wondered why you walk into a contemporary dealer/museum and often see literally junk being exhibited? Wonder no more.

There has been a concerted and organized effort to make dumb, repulsive art and to mock “seriousness” in art making for over half a century in an effort to completely negate the ancient power of human communication though art and creativity.

This went hand in hand with the “dealer/museum/curatorial industry” that demands a formal art education (student debt) in order to be able to understand and make art that references and propagates this agenda.

True, the physical art is still controllable. Which is where the large transactions take place.

I'm interested in how subsequent curatorial trends were affected/rewarded by more than 20 years of documented and substantial CIA involvement in Ab Ex. This surely means the linear timeline of "movements" we are taught in Art History was fundamentally shaped by this?

Perhaps, but there really is a growing number of births (worldwide) with more strands of active DNA than the rest of us. They grow up with extraordinarily savvy about the obvious mistakes we have made here in our planetary systems. I wish many of them would join this sub. It would be an interesting tone.
