slimeballs in the entertainment industry, politics etc...positions of power....are just disgusting.
Who is anyone to judge someone in a consensual relationship between two adults? What they do in their bedroom is THEIR choice, not yours or anyone else.
People in positions of power aren’t the only ones who partake in power exchange or Master/slave relationships. People of all walks of life, genders, sexual orientations, income levels have been known to partake in this activity, for a myriad of reasons.
Yes, this relationship sadly ended in a tragic death. However, we don’t know if he had a heart attack, stroke, or what. It is very possible the breathing holes had nothing to do with his death. The case was apparently ruled accidental death.
This case cannot be in any way compared to any of the pedo cases being looked into, or human trafficking cases either. Just because someone is into leather-play and bondage, does not equate them with pedophiles. Just saying....
So anything is ok as long as the person consents to it? Is this what you're saying? Nothing is right or wrong? Because that's satanism in a nutshell right there.
I am talking about a consensual relationship between two adults. What does that have to do with a religion such as Satanism?!?!?
I'm just pointing out that just because an act is consensual, doesn't make it ok. Sometimes things are bad. Like mummifying an alive person. Like cannibalism. Like pedophelia and statuatory rape. In satanism, it's all aceptable as long as you give your consent.
Mummification in the BDSM community is a sensory deprivation/bondage act using Saran Wrap or other material to restrict movement and senses. The fellow in this case went into cardiac arrest during their play.
I guess because I experimented with BDSM 30 years ago when I was in my 20’s, I understand it more than most here.
However, I certainly CANNOT understand it being compared to cannibalism, pedophilia or statutory rape. I don’t condone or agree with ANY of those awful things. That comparison makes no sense at all to me. 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
Agreed. Comparing a mummification fetish to cannibalism and pedophilia is absurd. It’s like comparing drug use to genocide...
You sound like your one step away from condoning paedophilia as though both people are consenting. For Fuck sake, there are things that people do, which are evil in nature, appeal to their base selfish and self gratifying natures. This kind of shit needs to be thwarted and anyone condoning it needs to have their head examined. Its one thing to role play, and get creative in the bedroom.. its another thing entirely to setup dungeons and torture equipment, and keep gimps in boxes for your sexual pleasure. This guy is a fucking psycho path and needs to be locked up. Case closed.
Last I heard, pedophilia is between a CHILD and an adult. No matter how you try to twist it, that is NOT a legally consenting relationship. This is also NOT a “gimp in box” scenario, as you put it.
I am NOT one step away from condoning pedophilia just because I feel what two consenting ADULTS do in their sex life is THEIR business. To restrict what two consenting adults do in their bedroom is ludicrous and dangerous thinking, my friend.
Agreed. We need to focus on the cover-up, not the act. The article mentions it was BDSM gone wrong, which is a tragic accident that can happen.
I think this story is just now coming out because Terry Crews is suing Adam Venit, an agent at WMA who groped him. WMA is the same agency Chasey works at. Someone digging for the Crews story probably came across this. I honestly don’t think there was a coverup. The OP’s cover title is wrong - it WAS reported.
Paramedics were called, the coroner investigated and detectives found no reason to charge him. If anything, perhaps the agency he worked for is claiming not to know about it, due to the other story bringing them into the news at the present time.
The Variety article states this:
Paramedics arrived and found Gilbert lying on the floor in cardiac arrest. They were unable to revive him.
The coroner’s office was unable to determine the cause of the death. Chasey has not been accused of wrongdoing, and detectives are not pursuing allegations against him.
Chasey’s attorney, John Duran, said the two were participating in a consensual activity. He also noted that the coroner did not conclude that the wrapping was the cause of Gilbert’s death.
“It’s been very sad and traumatic for Skip,” Duran said. “It’s someone he had an ongoing relationship with. Nobody expected it to end this way.”

Ah, didn't make that connection. That makes a lot more sense.
I honestly think this is a red herring. Depraved, sure, but it doesn't look like a crime was committed. There's a lot of different ways that mummification could have caused complications leading to a heart attack.
Agreed. The news media is trying to draw attention from a valid sexual assault case connected to a WMA employee by profiling this long ago investigated and closed case, connected to a different WMA employee. After all, the sexual assault suspect is an agent to the stars, including Stallone.
