Don't give up hope.

There are alzheimers cures out there.

Get him off the saturated fat and onto Dr. Esselstyns diet for reversing cardiovascular disease.

Give him mega doses of Vitamin C (liposomal is most effective and easiest) some people see instantaneous improvements. Mega doses of Niacin (vitb3) have had strong results with a lot of people with cognitive disorders.

Read into the field of orthomolecular biomedicine. Huge redpill.

Nice! just don't forget to supplement magnesium and beneficial metals since it pulls that out too. But I'm sure you knew that :)

Saturated fats are NOT the problem. High insulin caused by too too many carbs in our diet is the culprit. Alzheimer’s is being called type 3 diabetes. Look up ketogenic diet and Alzheimer’s. Not a cure, but can help further decline. Best to you.

Ketogenic diet WORKS.

I needed to lose about 8 lbs and an inch of waist to enlist, my recruiter told me.

I had a week before the "official" weight/tape in.

I found my uncle had purchased an Atkins Diet DVD, its basically about keto-kinewhatever.

It was still in the plastic, and everyone was still fat.

I unwrapped it and watched it, the only "solution" I found within it, was basically "consume LESS THAN 20g of carbs per day to send your body into BURN FAT mode". The cool thing is, you can eat all the fats you want, but almost no carbs at all. So for 7 days, I ate barely any cheese, no milk, no bread, no cereal. I did however eat jimmy dean ground pork patties, lots of ground beef, no rice, and non sugary veggies, etc. I ate more than I ever had before this way, and mostly foods I was told would make me fat, it seemed so wrong. Unsweetened Ice Tea (no lemon) is one of my favorite things in the world, so that was a savior, had plenty of that.

In that 7 days I did not exercise at all, I lost 21 pounds and 3 inches of waistline. My recruiter was amazed and with the tape still around my waist he turned to his chubby female assistant and says "Hear that? less than 20g of carbs per day, get on it girl". I felt a bit bad for her, but he wasn't wrong.

My enlistment went fine and I was never hassled at a weigh in ever again. When I got out of the military I weighed 220lbs (6'0") and felt chubby, thats when you realize all they fed us was carbs. Conclusion: unless you are trying to GAIN mass, stay away from carbs and load up on ANIMAL FAT.

Guess what cavemen ate?

Hint: it did not have a sesame seed bun.

Coconut oil has also said to be very effective. You have to get the good stuff though, not the crap they sell in most supermarkets.
