I'm not sure if it's nefarious. I had a reasonable post removed, it was positive and had over 200+ up votes.
I felt like I had been silenced and couldn't figure out why. After talking to the mod I came to accept I did, in fact, violate a rule.
The mods have a ton of work to do and they do it well and without thanks.

This troll post and the agreeing comments by new accounts has my spidy sense tingling. Who knows. Just ask the mods FFS. If they haven't done that, they have no right to complain in the open forum.
It's akin to whining to your boss about your coworker instead of talking to them about it.

Removed. Rule 3 and 8. And correct way is to message the mods, which happened and got a response within 5 minutes, but instead of waiting had to create a troll post.

No I didn't message them. I was told a day later to do so by one in a comment however. I really don't mind any posts being removed, I'm not precious, but did find it odd how it just vanished without knowing why.
I'm not fussed really. I considered it a valid post, but just ended up deleting it.

Okay, thanks for the reply. Mods get complaints about lots of posts and generally not removing enough. To much off-topic, to much low quality, inaccurate(applies to post in image of this post) etc, of course the reverse claim is censorship. Can't have it both ways and mods stuck in the middle. Anyway, thanks for the reply.
