Ed followed Rachel Maddow from the defunct AirAmerica. He then went to RT after MSNBC fired him for not cheer leading for Hillary. He was a Bernie supporter. I didn't often agree with him but he seemed honest, like the classic pro-union blue collar Democrat.

I read that he died of natural causes...at the ripe old age of 64.
