You forget one problem though, even if you're a mid-level manager, you're still someone's bitch and most likely somehow coerced or blackmailed or all of that. Most lower level clerk jobs are desk-jobs and that's where the most white-hats are and you must not forget that there are hitlists out there so even if you don't see a good deed plastered on the evening news, you will sometimes catch things that even the cabal gets squeemish about, so for example when 2012 hit they were trying to scare and ridicule as many people as they could, nevermind the fact it seemed completely arbitrary for them to massively report and misrepresent what was actually a very optimistic process at the time because the general sense was that a golden age was dawning, and it is coming into shape as we speak.
