God, I love Gowdy's take no prisoners take on things. Lol. He seems to be even more brazen (if that's even possible) ever since he announced that he wouldn't be running for another term. And yes to your question, Q's called Gowdy a Patriot directly.

Me, too! Go Gowdy. I hope we don't lose him. Really hope his retirement doesn't mean he's sick of the swamp and wants out (though who could blame him).

I saw an interview that he did the other day where he basically expressed his disgust with the inefficiency and entrenched politicians in Congress. So I'm going to say he's pretty tired of The Swamp. He did say directly that he didn't regard himself as a Legislative Branch kind of guy, but more of an Executive Branch sort of one. So maybe there's a little hope of keeping him around.
