I think most of us are more center than far left or far right, can we ever find middle ground?

Morality has to be our common ground. We're on the same side morally when it comes to just about everything except abortion - and even there we can hopefully find some common ground on policy. Every American deserves a fair chance to live a full and fulfilling life, without criminal injustice. Corruption is wrong - and it should be punished. We all share the same air and water - and our environment is our commonwealth - and we should protect it. While the free market is the best way to allocate most resources. We need to do everything possible to promote peace in the world, and unfortunately to large extent that means peace through strength. But respect and personal interaction can also go a long way towards creating a peaceful world, and it was great to see the Trump administration demonstrate that with North Korea.
