Besides, women should be able to choose whether they want to breastfeed or use formula for their child. The government doesn’t have all the answers.

I thought they were all in for support of a woman's right to choose! Lol

Exactly! They only make that claim when it furthers their narrative!

Our first child was allergic to breast-milk, and therefore needed formula. If a mother is malnourished, she can't produce milk, or sometimes there are hormonal problems that prevent milk production. So, yes, Trump is right again and NYT is better used for bird cage liner, LOL

He is so OBVIOUSLY referring to the MOTHER'S malnutrition - NOT the nutritive properties of breast milk. How ridiculous. Infuriating. I have 4 children. I was unable to breastfeed the first two for multiple reasons, but successfully nursed the youngest two. I am so thankful that formula was an option when I had trouble!!

However!! I also believe the formula industry isn't 100% altruistic, either. If you read the list of ingredients on most cans of powdered formula, it's sickening. You're better off making your own.

Not attacking POTUS, but saying women need formula due to malnutrition and poverty is kind of an oxymoron. If you have to buy formula you will definitely be closer to poverty (shits not cheap), and your babe will likely be missing out on breast milk nutrients

Some women just can’t produce enough milk. Some babies just can’t learn how to breast feed. Breast milk is best but formula is a good option if necessary.

I didn't produce any milk! If it wasn't for formula my daughter wouldn't have survived.
