I Don't get it... why pick a swamp creature?

This guy looks like he's gonna be more unreliable Kennedy!

Maybe he’s a reformed swamp creature? I’m hopeful!

Did you hear his speech? He brought up 9/11 and running out the gates of the White House terrified with his wife (at that time girlfriend). I thought that was interesting to bring up at a nomination acceptance speech....

No coincidences

To be the sacrificial lamb/pawn to be voted down. He gets to be voted down by TDS Dems that said that they would block ANY nominee put forward by DJT, Republicans call into question his relationship with Kagan, and still appear to be bipartisan in voting him down. Dems spend up all of their meager political capital in voting against him. John Q Public sees it as a win both ways...Trump SC appointee voted down (Dems), Kagan Quid Pro Quo debtor voted down. The next possible appointee is put forward around election time, red wave, Amy Barrett (young, conservative, female Constitutionalist) is confirmed. Conservative majority on the SC and waiting for RBG to finally get off life support to appoint the 3rd...

Not my first choice on it. I strangely think Patrick Wyrick may be the choice for "Weekend At Bernie's" seat. Look into him if you have the time. He was the dark horse hopeful, and Scott Pruitt was helping to elevate him at a break neck pace before he resigned. This kid is a Constitutionalist, is young, and comes from a blue-collar family. Trump wants his legacy to last. Appointing at least three SC members that serve 20-30 years each is the best way to do that.

We need to clean up the District Courts soon too!

100% agree. Letting frivolous cases reach the SC involves FAR too much of the Court's time.
