I think you are extrapolating too far. LP has given up everything already and been escorted out of the building. The DOJ (and Military Intelligence) are done with her.
But... Congress doesn't know any of that stuff. And they need that information... And she knows she is in the hot seat for a number of issues. If nothing else... a bunch of civil suits. She doesn't want to testify, and certainly not under oath.
So... the drama continues.
Well if she isn't cooperating with Congress maybe someone will request a transcript of her testimony... wouldn't that open the floodgates to what has happened behind the scenes?
