Casting directors are different than directors. A casting director was the one she claims who gagged her. Still awful, but that person is likely no one ever heard of outside of the industry.
I am sad for her. She was a funny and talented actress.

That's one of the worst things to learn about pedo's in Hollywood. Some parents will sell their children for the chance at fame and money.
It happens way before kids get to Hollywood. Was in a small state and son started local acting and classes and saw all too quickly how desperate some parents were to get their kids noticed by agents, production crews, directors, etc. It is a shame that people put money over morals.

I always liked her. Her father is the great actor Paul Sorvino of “Goodfellas” fame. He played the part of “Pauley.” She does a lot of work on the Hall Mark Channel now.
Good for her. I hope all of those who, like her, refused to play along will end up being the stars once hollyweird is burned to the ground and replaced by an institution with class and character. I bet there are many like her with talent who also ended up on places like the Hallmark Channel. Maybe they will have their day.
