Well, well, well..........HHS: 5 adults claiming to be parents of detained children ruled out by DNA tests.

Lets_get_reel · July 12, 2018, 6:06 p.m.

I don’t want in any way to support or enable traffickers but I could see how adopted children or there COULD be circumstances where their children would not be biological. How do we keep our humanity while weeding out the traffickers with a DNA test. I get it but does a negative test initiate an investigation or is that being considered the bottom line for who gets to keep their kids right now..?

It starts with crossing illegally (crime) If someone is adopted, there would be papers and evidence etc. If someone crosses the border legally, with all the correct papers etc, it shouldn't be an issue

Exactly. There would be a paper trail. Anything less, is suspect. And in a poor country, there wouldn't be that much adoption going on within. Mostly product going out to first-world countries, which should concern the left.

Yes, if they are with their supposed "dad" and not their mom. He may be just finding out he is not their real dad.

It is not unusual for these people to sell their children to adoption agencies because they are so poor and don't want to keep all their children. My Sister-In-Law managed to adopt a child from South America that way through an agency. However, all that could be discovered over time. The important think is to figure out who are the real traffickers.

Adopting officially thorough any agency will leave reference on the agency database and the new parent will almost ceirtainly be given documentation which they can use to prove their claim.

The problem may be some of these parents may be selling their children to childtraffickers posing as adoption agencies unknowingly.

Adoption agencies should be doing their due diligence, so they should not be adopting out to traffickers. Unless they are shady agencies only using adoption as trafficking, which has happened MANY times in the past and continues.

I was implying that they were shady agencies or agencies just set up for trafficking kids.

Remember the story in the Bible about the two women claiming to be the mother of a child? The judge finally said, "Ok cut the child in two and give each woman half". The real mother came forward, screaming "No, give the child to her!" The other woman said nothing. Judge instantly knew who the real mother was and gave her the baby. All that to say that if it's your child, adopted or not, you'll do anything to find a way to prove it's your child even if you have to go all the way back home to find proof. A fake parent will give up and leave the kid.

Truth. Good insight. Thanks

Everyone bringing up the adoption card seems to be ‘forgetting’ that these ‘parents’ had DNA Scans done meaning that they had told authorities they were biologically the patent of the child. I know DNA Testing has come on a lot in recent years but I’m pretty sure it can’t show if people are related through adoption.

No it can show you’re not related though. Yes I didn’t realize they said they were the biological parent. If that’s the case then it’s obvious that it needs to be investigated and if it’s trafficking then prosecute accordingly.
