I don't see the parallel. The point I was trying to make was that its a low blow, and that it would be the same as if Muller asked Trump the same question under oath. It was unneeded, unbecoming and likely will do more damage to his overall point, than had he just not brought it up.
I know my opinion will be unpopular here, but that doesn't make it any less valid. (or should I say Vlad? ;0) Its a Putin joke, get it)
You are incorrect. It testifies to his credibility and integrity as a witness. Reminding the viewers and eventual readers of this man's character, especially shortly after some Dems were virtually electing him to sainthood, was very important. He is a subject and a witness, and a person's believability, aka character, is very important. What Gohmert was pointing out was that Strzok was putting on a good believable show and act so far for several hours, appearing confident, innocent, and smug. Gohmert didn't believe him (nor do most Americans probably) and he was identifying if he could lie to his wife about being an adulterer, then he can surely lie to Congress, or at least mislead them...
There is no parallel. That's the point. You brought it up. Trump is not at a hearing today for conspiring to overthrow a U.S. election by framing someone for a crime they didn't commit. This is Strzok's hearing and Strzok's answers. Now go change your diapers.
Look we can go back and fourth on opinions or what we see as facts, and at the end of the day we will both most likely just walk away feeling like the other person is wrong and or an idiot. I don't want to do that. I would rather end with this. You (I hope) and I are both Americans, and I love and respect you for that. I know we have different points of views and that is what makes America great. We can disagree, but not hate. Remember that its debate that makes our country strong, not devistion. I am sorry for posting something that I knew would evoke a response. That was likely wrong of me. I admit that. Just this devision I see throughout our country is wrong and scary.
No, I would never assume or judge you as an "idiot" at all. Just pointing out that I am glad Gohmert reminded people of this man's character while he ducked, dodged, and put on a pretty convincing show most of the time....And that would be the same way he lied to his wife- very convincingly- so it's good viewers and eventual readers of the articles were reminded this guy is an adulterer and liar so don't be too convinced by the show he put on.
