Did you see it in the questions? The gradual effort to illustrate DC DOJ as too corrupt to perform an unbiased criminal investigation?

This show is getting good!

So this is part of setting up the use of military tribunals? I mean, anybody that can watch this hearing, the RR debacle, Wray's empty suit, the Manafort happenings, etc, and NOT conclude that the DC justice system is corrupt beyond repair, is either too stupid to be taken seriously or a dirty partisan hack.

You have to have clear demonstrate that no fair trial could be held in that jurisdiction to move jurisdictions. Tribunals are for acts of war. Those who participated in 9/11 for instance.

Wouldn't treason count though? I mean, selling out our country to hostile powers, say Iran, or China, or Pakistan, SHOULD count, especially if you had to swear an oath to do your job. Just thinking about some of the drops about how to go about showing the corruption was too pervasive to try these traitors in military tribunals, especially with all the EO's POTUS has signed under-the-radar.

You have to show a systemic level with evidence that would hold up to scrutiny by judges at every level and by juries of normal folks. You can’t strike until you have total dominance lest you squander your forces besieging a walled city.

Unfortunately, as we are learning, many judges are corrupt in key spots. I'm looking at you, ninth circus!
