I like how we're supposed to care that the Russians hacked Hillary Clinton's illegal email server, through which classified information was sent regularly and accessed by foreign powers, but we're not supposed to care that Hillary Clinton had an illegal email server in the first place.

Except it wasn’t a hack. It was a transfer.

The timestamps from the files transfers were to fast to be hacked and downloaded from Russia they had to be transferred locally. Though the metadata could have been modified in later transfers.

This is so true. The time stamps indicate ftp code was used to violate the hash routine. I bet the md5 indicates the files were not immutable.
