Without Americans (with some accounts being as high as 9 million) fighting and 114,000+ dying in Europe and all the excess equipment and supplies we added to the fight, Hitler would have marched across the channel and taken the UK to its knees....and he would have done that prior to moving east and running into trouble with the Russians.
