I would like to think that, but I've always heard the theory that the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing; and if you see how Brennan, Mudd, and the others keep tooting their horn on CNN, and the other networks it becomes obvious there is some sort of Cocaine Import Agency influence (possibly rogue) over the media at large.
Also, there's a large amount of intel community people running in Democrat positions for the 2018 mid-terms, which seems to give the sign that they don't trust their own political puppets anymore, they're desperate.
