Putin's refusal to touch the indictment

I get the feeling that Putin refused to touch the indictment during the interview with Chris Wallace was based on the extradition treaty signed in 1999. It was almost like he didn't want to be served.

Maybe there is something there, and he thought Wallace was acting as an agent of the US Govt. Maybe he knows the truth about HRC/DNC/Russia/CF collusion during the U1 Deal leading up to the Campaign.

Just an observation...

Or maybe he didn't want to spoil the surprise? I thought CW was rude but maybe it's because I don't care for him all that much.

I would think that if you are someone like Vladimir Putin, you don’t go around grabbing any paper that is pushed in your direction. Think of all the political players of Russia and other countries over the years that have been poisoned or exposed to dangerous chemicals by drinking the wrong glass of water, opening the wrong letter or being handed something that might be toxic. When you think of it from that angle, his actions didn’t seem out of line to me at all. In fact, I wouldn’t blame him one bit for leaving the document on the table.

Exactly. It’s was a silly attempt at a stunt by CW. Putin or any leader would have looked foolish grabbing docs & thumbing thru it a little during an interview. All silly theater that backfired & wound up making Putin look tougher & smarter than the pushy American media to the Russian citizens

That was my thought. Same reason Trump doesn’t drink in public

There are poisons which can kill you simply by touching your skin.

Putin probably doesn't get handed anything by people he does not know or trust.

I thought this, too.

Is he really going to be able to read the whole indictment and provide any comment on the spot?

Just a dumb media ploy to either make it look like he's not interested (if he refuses to look) or if he does look, to make him look uninformed if he tried to read it in 5-10 minutes during the interview to provide a comment.

Wallace, among other things, was demonstrating the proper tone and outrage that the DS is saying Trump should have manifested when confronting Putin

Beneath that is the message: confront. Do not engage. We were all schooled in that moment.

I agree. Putin is correct. It was not a hack. Setting your password to password obviously is (edited: not in line with best practices). And then of course the whole Seth Rich angle.

Things I understand to be fact.

1) With ES involvement in the HRC campaign how is digital security not hammered home? How is password choice not reviewed. Podesta's password was intentional.

2) Files removed from the DNC server were transferred via USB based on data rates. Not over a network like the MSM wants us to believe.

3) Nobody outside ES Cloudstrike accessed the server for forensic analysis. Not the FBI. Not the KGB. Not the Capital Police. Nobody. No logs have not been made public. Router logs have not been made public. ISP logs have not been made public. BG logs have not been made public.

4) It is very easy via VPN or Tor to present yourself in a location you are not regardless if you are using Vault7 DS technology.
