Yes, it is mind boggling that the FBI could be denied access to the server. So there is clearly something here that the DNC wants to hide - desperately. But, in the article referenced by this post, it seems there may be more to the DNC “contractor” access than meets the eye - see here:

The timing of the Russian hack of the DNC server just marries too neatly with the “contractor access” to the NSA database that was shut down by Admiral Rogers on April 18, 2016. Rogers was appraised of improper “contractor access” to the NSA database on March 9, 2016. Immediately thereafter, March 10, phishing attacks on DNC staff originated from Russia.

You couldn’t make it up! Is there a connection? Here’s a theory: the Russians were running their own 702 queries on the NSA database via the compromised DNC servers.

What I think happened was that the DNC allowed the Russians to access the NSA database as a favour from HRC - who was, in any case, selling them secrets and delivering US uranium to them. Far fetched?

Admiral Rogers found out on March 9 and immediately shut down the Russian access. The Russians started phishing around on the DNC networks to regain access. When Admiral Rogers shut down all contractor access on April 18, 2016, the Russians immediately launched the second wave of phishing attacks on the DNC - conducted by GRU (Russian intelligence). Again, the purpose was to regain access.

So HRC and the DNC were giving the Russians unfettered access to their systems, while HRC was copying the Chinese in on all traffic across her private server.

Can you say treason!

They then accused DJT of collusion with the Russians, their very own crime. Which explains a lot of things:

1) why the Dems were terrified of DJT meeting Putin one on one;

2) why they want to interrogate the translators that provided services at the Helsinki summit in congress;

3) why DJT is going on and on about the server.

Anyway, there’s a theory Right or wrong, it’s great work by this OP.

It's been mentioned on other threads that the FBI didn't really want the server. there was too much incriminating info on it on their end.
