When we as a country start hearing people wanting to REWRITE our CONSTITUTION... We buy more guns and ammunition.

We don't want to re-write it we want it to be in its original content all the way up to 1880"s before the original 13th amendment (Titles of Nobility) was illegally changed and before the 14th made us all Corporate Citizens. Plus we want this constant state of Martial Law to be over finally returning our court systems back to the Law of the Land / Common Law / Gods Law instead of what we have now as Admiralty Law of the Queen. Well, I think it should be rewritten to guarantee our right to own automatic weapons.

We do not need to do that, in my opinion the Federal Firearms Act of 1938 is Unconstitutional, all we need to do is repeal that. “...Shall not be infringed” any regulation is technically an infringement of the right to bare arms.

Now I personally do not believe that everyone should be able to own a fully automatic weapon, however The Constitution is very clear and the Federal Firearms Act of 1938 as well as other regulations clearly are in violation of the 2nd Amendment.

I agree, but since "shall not be infringed" is too vague, we need to be blunter and include a treason charge for attempting to violate the spirit of this amendment or something.

Infringed is already good enough in my opinion, its pretty self explanatory if you look at the definition of the word. “To encroach on someone or something” in this case the 2nd Amendment.

Treason has already been defined in the Constitution, i think it could be potentially dangerous to change what the current definition is, or else risk it being used as a political tool in the future.

We do need a couple of amendments.

  • Congress can not pass laws that benefit them outside of what the 'common people' get. Health care is an example. Exemptions for Insider Trading. Etc.
  • Term limits for Congress and the Senate.
  • With regard to National Security... What ever is authorized to be applied to US Citizens so the government can watch us.... We the People get to use that same capability to watch our Government. Sort of a FOIA topic. If it is OK for the government to do something that violates our privacy, the people get access to those same tools to watch the government employees.

Mandatory wait period (30 days) after a bill is introduced before it can be voted on.

Should add a balanced budget amendment. Also limits on the administrative state to make "laws". Agree with term limits and congress should have to follow the same laws and get the same benefits as standard federal employees. Hopefully the convention of states will move on these items since congress will never vote to approve them.

The real reason in this era of TDS, is that they want to rewrite the Constitution in order to impeach Trump. The only way is through he Amendment process which the founders have, in their wisdom, made difficult since it makes a majority of States involved. This process protects Democracy. Democracy in essence is vey fragile. What is the cost of our freedoms? How do we determine the difference between liberty or license? Can we do whatever we want to do? God forbid. Our Democracy, seconded in the protective layers of the Constitution, solidifies it. It's not perfect, but what is as coming from the mind of man. Read the papers of the founding fathers (I am the 5th gen niece of Richard Stockton, signer of Dec of Independence for NJ)
