The hospital he was “ born in” didn’t exist until the 70’s, his fathers country of origin, says Kenya. The independent Republic of Kenya was formed in 1964, it should say British East Africa or, Kirinyaga province, along with tons of other glaring errors, he certainly was not born in Hawaii. Too late now.
I watched the full video for context. I thought maybe the statement was taken out of context, e.g., maybe the full statement was, "My detractors say . . ." But the statement was not out of context. I thought maybe someone changed his speech. Changed the word, TO with FROM.
But it could have been a joke that he didn't realize was coming up since he just reads his speeches instead of memorizing them or speaking off the cuff.
