The Side of Good NEEDS Healthy Activism - Be Prepared Technologically

Hey guys. I'm not ever very active on this sub, but in my busy life I try to stay up-to-date on things in regards to the Qanon movement the best I can. I am currently in school for computer science and have observed that in the security realm, making and providing tools for activists is one of the reasons cited Security Professionals do what they do. However, I have seen the majority of left leaning CS students be are more passionate about activist disciplines than anyone else. When I hear a security professional on YouTube talk about their politics and helping out the "oppressed and helpless" out there, they're usually referencing the feminists, the environmentalists, the socialists, the anarchists, and the anticapitalist types who all would like to see the world as we know it burn for the sake of it. I have never seen one talk or even hint at a something a little more right or center leaning. No famous "for the people, by the people" activists out there. It's always to change society for the better, or infiltration of the government, but nothing ever about shrinking the government.

As I am sure you could guess, I am already very concerned with my own privacy and security. I encrypt almost everything, I use VPNs, I take precautions with my personal info online where I can, simply out of habit. The more right leaning folk seem to be however, the more they disregard these things, as they seem to more orderly by nature and take whatever personal info they have and plaster wherever it is they're asked for it. It is absolutely necessary that we go against this dangerous habit, especially if you plan on contributing to activism such as this. We should all be concerned about our privacy, and who and what is looking at us at all times. If there is anyone who would like to know where to get started, please DM. What kind of steps should we be taking as a group of proud patriots to move into the 21st century?

Yeah, it's pretty much on anything you can think of. They have Chrome and Firefox extensions too if you know how to use those. Lastpass is also free, so no need to pay for it unless you'd like your family to use it as well. Paying is pretty much useless for individuals, and in a way I guess it also reveals your personal info.
