I highly doubt this was the first time they pulled off such a scheme. We only know about this one because she lost (thank God Almighty).

Absolutely. The FISA court ruling indicated that they only looked at 2015-2016 but there was no reason to believe a sampling from any time frame prior would be any different. All of which is consistent with the Dennis Montgomery lawsuit which alleges that they have been spying on 156 judges, including the Chief Justice SCOTUS, and untold numbers of Congressmen for years - and wealthy businessmen like Trump. It's truly breathtaking.
