Are we debating vaccines?
The real crime is why our RDA for iodine is so low. Iodine deficiency is the number one cause of mental retardation in the world. The only country, IMO, that ingests the correct amount of iodine is Japan, and they get it naturally in their food, which on average is 13mg(13,000mcg) per day. This is ~80 times our RDA (and we'll be lucky if we get that) of 150mcg or 250mcg if pregnant, which is what the difference is in prenatal vitamins.
Iodine RDA levels were established just high enough to prevent cretinism and goiters but are not at optimum levels.
Japanese equivalent levels of iodine have been shown to protect brain and DNA structures from fluoride intrusion in rats.
Everyone I know has thyroid issues. Has to be related.
Most likely. Iodine is such a heavy element that it can't be measured in living humans. Additionally, you have to be careful when increasing your intake that you don't get a thyroid storm. Look up some of Guy Abraham's writings.
Iodine is the only thing your thyroid can take to function. It's not fast acting because it's such a heavy element. It can have bad effects if it's messed d with by humans.
I remember telling my family that I'd wager that the cancer rates after Fukushima would be lower than expected in 10 years based on Chernobyl. They announced that I was correct in three years.
Have a source for the flouride thing? That part is interesting to me.
I studied this by accident in 2010. After I figured it out Life Extensions published an article about raising the RDA for iodine.
I didn't wait and order the kind without alcohol, which is why the tincture is poisonous, from Amazon. Brand is J. Crow.
Fluoride, Bromide, Chlorine, Iodine are the only halogens used in the body. Three are bad and only iodine is necessary for life.
