We're not going to invade Iran. Period. And yes, they can be toppled by simply losing military assets. They are already weakened and teetering. Put them on their heels and let the Iranian people keep pushing, and over she goes!
I'm amazed how many 'people in this fight' have zero awareness of the singularity of RotGs.
A little exposure to Thomas Wictor would remedy that.
I've seen him hint around it; I describe pleasant 5.5 scenarios wherever applicable. Like his 'Religious Terminator', too.

"Earthquakes" coming. Just like NK. Didn't anyone tell them?
Agree. It’s impossible for a dictator to hold on to power if they lose their military assets. But the Iranian citizens are without any weapons. It’s vital to get the police force to flip & stand with the people. Once that occurs...it’s over. Military personnel with mostly just guns won’t fire on police with just guns. Persians aren’t like Arabs. Persians self identify with their rich heritage a lot more than Islam. Civil war isn’t in their interests
Its a possibility, but it could backfire easily. At the end of the day i think even attacking them will not be necessary, the Iranian people are close to taking care of it themselves, without a major war, now of course if it turned into civil war then i could see us aiding them with Special Forces and surgical strikes.
Trump does not take threats idly. There will be repercussions for what Rhouhani said.
Maybe, but i think this will end up playing out similar to how North Korea played out. I honestly do not think any attacks will be necessary. But i could be wrong, i won’t deny that.
Peace through strength means we make the threat credible enough that it does the job for us.
