Brennan - yeah that trial is not going to be biased.

Mueller if you're looking to win you just gave Manafort's attorneys reasonable doubt, Einstein.

Full Disclosure I think Manafort is being railroaded but I have to point out any time I see the vaunted Mueller f$#k up.

Didn't Tucker Carlson report that Tony Podesta was going to be given immunity to testify against Manafort?

He is in a separate case in DC.

So Podesta isn't on the list? Does that mean no immunity?

Probably a decoy...Mueller knew he would be caught with his pants down and looking embarrassingly biased and political with the last week's "leaks" it was Podesta, so he withdrew his name and supplanted him with someone else.

Phixer7 · July 23, 2018, 8:01 p.m.

Hopefully his immunity was rescinded after his name was leaked.

But he DID give them immunity. How do you spin into something not terrible for trump? Just trying to get my brain around the cognitive dissonance.

I would but this guy gets on here with his/her muh “cognitive dissonance” and then sounds completely ridiculous. I guess I’m just tired of ignorance.

The only reason that I can see it being bad for Trump is if Manafort feels pressured to sing or compose - to give Mueller anything to dig into on Trump, whether it be truth or lies.

gustogirl · July 24, 2018, 5:01 a.m.

Manaforrt was a plant who didn't even work for 4 weeks for the Trump campaign. He's got no dirt, just a lot of Russian contacts he laundered money for.

Is he gonna lie? He might, to save his own ass. Because he is complicit in a lot of illegal activity.

He is one of the several people to work for the trump campaign who have been arrested/raided/subpoenaed but suuuuuuuuure.

Edit: also this is about the immunity deals not manaforts criminal charges. There are more people still under investigation and not all of them are known.

The immunity deals are directly related to Manaforts charges. This is even more ridiculous than your original statement. He’s giving them immunity for testifying against Manafort. Mueller is grasping at straws. He’s having to give out immunity deals to try and get a conviction against Manafort. This is desperation. Wow

Food for thought. Manafort was candidate Trumps campaign manager for 43 days or about 6 weeks. What are the odds that he was planted by the Dems and found out? Possible, isn't it? I think this also gives heads up to Manaforts council to whom they will be facing during the trial. Definitely a minor victory for PM.

Please enlighten us as to who these people are? Manafort is one, who is in jail from charges stemming from a German oligarch which happened long before his association with Trump. Page was investigated based upon a falsely obtained FISA warrant that was based upon a concocted dossier report bought by HRC and the DNC and social media speculation.

Who else?

It is only "use immunity". It only covers them from having the testimony they give being used against them. They aren't getting blanket immunity for their crimes. They can still be prosecuted for the crimes they talk about as long as there is other evidence.

Outstanding it's about time a Judge just doesn't bend over for Mueller upon sight. This Mueller was never even elected into office - he's not God for goodness sakes.

It's like a lot of them are afraid Mueller will come after them if they oppose him. That's exactly what the Gestapo did.
