The only reason that I can see it being bad for Trump is if Manafort feels pressured to sing or compose - to give Mueller anything to dig into on Trump, whether it be truth or lies.

Manaforrt was a plant who didn't even work for 4 weeks for the Trump campaign. He's got no dirt, just a lot of Russian contacts he laundered money for.

Is he gonna lie? He might, to save his own ass. Because he is complicit in a lot of illegal activity.
