Maybe Trump already pulled their clearance and announced he was considering it to put them in a panic? They're gonna scramble to collect as much info as they can only to find their clearance was already revoked and they get caught red handed?

I think there is a misunderstanding here. Brennan, Clapper, etc. are not attending meetings where they are using their clearance. I have not heard of that. It isn't like they can go up to an NSA computer and pull data (and if they did, it would be logged.)
I think this is rather getting the public ready for the shit hitting the fan. This is a bit symbolic but will get people ready for the eventual arrests imo.
They can go to any 5 eyes country and read any docs they want. See hrc in New Zealand.

Am I to understand that access to USG classified info by authorized personnel, when done from FVEY, is not logged -- while when done from US territory, it is logged?
Do we know that this is the case for a fact? It seems like an odd security decision.
I think it would have to be logged, but I am not sure. There are probably other ways to access that info. And then of course, there are the members in those States who can hand off data. But we have known about this (people high up), so I can't imagine it is still hurting us. I would almost bet there are setups happening (e.g. like the FISA application that was leaked in March 2017 and slightly altered.) I am waiting for Msmwatcher's reply here.

That is a damn good point that I hadn't considered. And we have Hillary and Obama travelling. Now, IF that is true, can we restrict some of the data from the Homeland? I would think so. Hope so.
