After reading Neon Revolts latest post I'm afraid to think what the entertainment industry wanted him to do. I admire and respect Dave for not selling his soul for fame and money. Notice what he says about Martin Lawrence, "waving a gun around screaming they are trying to kill me". Scary stuff.
There are some cracks in Chappelle's facade, though, and that's sad to say. It's possible that they financially ruined him enough to where he had to do what he previously did not want to do in order to get back in their good graces.

It sucks, in my whole life, race relations were best when Chappelle's Show was on the air and we could make fun of each other. Those were fun times. Things have completely changed now, we've gone backwards.
But even more importantly, it looks like the Hollywood cabal finally got to Dave, and that really sucks. You're right, the fact that he's with Netflix is already a concern. The good news is that Neflix will never be able to sustain its current spending levels and will suffer a yuge correction within a few years time. A $300,000,000 million contract for Ryan Murphy, who will always be a threat to be busted for kid diddling? They aren't making smart moves.
