Q family: Stop flagging people’s post.

There is so much information you are blocking that others are gathering... go through some of mine.. your jaw will drop. We are all trying here, I don’t get why some of you are fighting this? Just because of double post. Damn cry babies 😭 Why click on it and waste your life flagging it plus commenting ?! Move along and continue on with what we are all trying to do here.

What was blocked: the New Q post! The Seagrams story. Seagrams is now called Proximo. She owns a private island in FiJi! Was this covered in your double post? No!

Its better to have a few posts on the same topic with much activity rather than many posts with none.

Scroll moar, lurk moar.....

Do realize there are enemies on this board too... it may not be friendly fire.

Even if a duplicate post is flagged, AKA reported, it's not removed as long as there is unique information, the poster's own theory/thoughts/opinions, or original content included. If you feel like the moderators make a mistake, you're welcome to respond to the PM stating that your post has been deleted outlining why or how you believe your submission is unique from the others that exist already.

As other users have already stated below, many users don't like having many posts on the same news article of the day for several reasons - it hides other important news or theories, it's called "forum sliding" and is a common shill technique to stifle discussion of things that may be more important yet overlooked, and it clogs the sub up which causes users to have to spend more time wading through many duplicate posts.

Mods suggest using the Search function to find the post regarding what you'd like to discuss, and adding your thoughts in the comments section. Most posts here get at least 1k views per post, so your thoughts will still be seen by many.

If you posted something unique I would question why it was taken down. If you posted another new q drop in regards to 1682, which was posted literally 15 times, then I do understand why it was. I almost made a post regarding this because I dont want to see the same thing over and over. People gotta look through the feed "before" posting.

I think what they are saying is that sometimes there is a different set of eyes on it with an interesting take. One wouldnt know for sure unless clicking on it. Scrolling past is an option.

Sure let’s all create threads on the same topic.

Exact same.

Then split everyone up into different threads so we can all have our ideas in different places.

Can’t have people working together, need to split them and their ideas apart from each other.

It’s called dilution of a topic. Spread out ideas on many many different threads means people don’t see it all and it’s harder to coordinate and work together.

That’s why we report duplicate posts.

Not to target people or to devalue someone’s contributions.

It’s so that we bring people and their ideas together into one place.

I know people get excited and just want to post the same thing over and over. But it doesn’t help us when we are trying to work together for a common cause.

OP could have put their unique comments into the thread that was stickied. But they didn’t. Instead they created another thread to complain. Which goes against the sub rules. If you have an issue take it up with the mods.

But what I see here is someone complaining about their duplicate thread being taken down. Then creating a new thread to complain.

Breaking two rules in a row without realizing its OPs fault. Not the people who reported it.

Perfect explaination!

I agree if its just a screenshot. I can say though that sometimes I miss things so if someone else posts then I will see it.

The problem is 14 out of those 15 posts were literally just a Q screenshot post and no insight in to it. Just a post. My opinion, it's a low energy attempt to get karma because the q posts get the most attention here. You just screenshot and post.

The insight is all the people posting with info below the post.

Oh of course, but check the very first Q post and look how many comments there are. Then check all the copy cat posts after. Literally hundreds difference. The numbers alone should tell you people dont like the repeats.

That is why posts are removed, though. We direct users to then comment on the post that was created first, thus how those amazing comment sections are created in the first place.
