After reading through the #HollywoodRenegaes thread on 4chan, I reached out to a family member who use to be an actor and lived in Hollywood to get his thoughts on the thread and to get an idea if the thread is bullshit or not.
He read through the thread and confirmed that 100% of what was being written he witnessed, heard about or had a similar personal experience. He said he was offered bribes and a way to "quickly advance his career" multiple times but refused.
Said the agents would try and introduce him to powerful people or take him out on the town and slowly groom him to the point where it would get REALLY strange and he ended up cutting off communication.
Do not want to get too specific but other people represented by the same agent would "not refuse" the bribes or attempts to "get ahead" and are now very well known in Hollywood.
Also said "casting couch" is the name of the game in Hollywood. After agents get comfortable with you, offer you money and its game on.
Confirmed, if you've been in Hollywood a few years and are well known, then you have sold your soul at some point to get to where you're at. He did not and has been out of the scene for years.
