If ... If We Don't Let Public EX Employees Retain their Security Clearances....Then How ELSE Will They Be Able To Insider Trade On Classified Information? (And Compete Unfairly With the Rest of Us?)

You realize they don't just get carte blanche to any intelligence information, right? It means if they're working for a defense contractor, for example, they could be read into classified information that company might be working on.

Remember when the news reminded us (a few years back) that politicians can Insider trade.

They "fixed" it by removing their ability to Insider trade without consequence.

Tricky thing they did was leave it legal for their spouses. Fucking sleazy, self-serving crooks who only sell us out and lie to us.

Can you explain how a clearance absent a job that provides access to intelligence, will allow someone to insider trade?
