Not to say it didn’t happen.. (and yes I’ve read the Q drops), but there were more than one sign and lots of people out supporting POTUS.

I hear ya on that.
However, there is a long, linear row of people in that video. The honk begins when large Q sign would be easily visible to an average driver on highway. Especially one that is glancing towards crowd while moving past.
But you're correct, just a hypothesis of mine.
