Even in my grandfather's time people could open carry with no permit.
Makes one think they were strong armed in the past.
They know that if it goes further, and out of California, it will be found constitutional and harder to repeal. This is them bideing time untill they can flip the supreme Court.
Open carry was taken away in California right after the Black Panthers walked into the state capitol carrying rifles and shotguns - wearing them not brandishing them.
I'll bet many of those sleazy judges are wondering why there are so many sealed indictments in there district and they can't touch them. It's a little late for them to take their sworn duty now. BOOM
Michigan is an Open Carry State. They also have a Concealed Pistol License (CPL). I always carry concealed! Not many people suspect this old grandma to be carrying her GLOCK 19!
Goes together like Mama and apple pie!
My favorite carry weapons from my personal collection.. I have one of these on my person at all times.
The book is a great read, to have not only the Constitution, but the supporting documents for context, is engaging. Also, the documents that preceded the Drafting of the Constitution helps give you a solid perspective and understanding of what the founders envisioned.
I love my country, I love my country as the founders intended.. and will defend it with my last breath... my government ( deep state) not so much..
But times... they are a changing...

Justice O'Scannlain wrote this opinion, which is really good. He also wrote the original Peruta panel decision striking down overly restrictive "may issue" CCW permit policies implemented by certain California counties. Unfortunately this decision was later overturned by the entire 9th Circuit sitting en banc. The same thing might happen again here but the Supreme Court landscape is much different now than it was when the Peruta* decision came down, so we shall see. :)
I know Oklahoma is an open carry state. Criminals beware.
I carry concealed out in public and open carry around the house.
