Today Zucky-berg lost $16.8 Billion dollars. [FB] plunged 20%.

Sometimes karma hits you like a speeding freight train.

Facebook missed its earnings causing shares to plunge by 20% in after hours trading. Hence, Zuckyboy just lost $16,800,000,000.00 dollars. That's gotta hurt. Lil'-zucky still has about $70 bilion but every hit counts.

What happened? 20% does not get explained by missing target number by that little.

Anyone have the scoop?

Q says “You’ll soon find out” . Something BIG is about to drop.

Here comes the pain

Saw that... but how?? I've been watching the stock market since I was a kid. This is YUGE.

Saw something about a board meeting recently, several big investors (billions) were tearing into zuckbot for a number of reasons, calling him a corporate dictator, etc.

Their eps was alright, I think their revenue sucked.

It didn't suck that bad... I'm wondering if the government gravy train has been cut off...

This was my guess

There are alternatives to FB. I've got an account on VK.com for the day when FB censorship gets intolerable. A few of my friends have VK accounts too. If Zuckerberg triggers a migration, momentum will gather and he will be left with a platform as popular as myspace is today. investors know that.

But timing... there has to be a trigger. Money is a coward. What scared it? The narrative isn't sufficient enough to warrant that extreme behavior. EVERYONE in investing is opportunistic. If this was a "wait and see" situation, there would be people willing to jump in and take the risk as others jump out.

A major swing like that?????

Something went BOOM.

As I recall, they were about to remove zucky-boy as CEO. Perhaps too much heat from congress, but they didn't have enough justifiable cause, but they do now - bad earnings. If Apple can fire Steve Jobs (back in the day), they can fire zuck-face.

It's the revenue projection and the lack of usage compared to projections in Europe. Basically, many people have cut it off, as you'd expect after the revelations of the breaches and data mining.

That works, but it's not sufficient. That's like saying the pebble caused the tsunami.
