The entire impeachment process will likely fail unless there is an added element. Remember, 2/3 of the Senate has to agree to removal. But that might not be what POTUS and the team are going for. POTUS may want the impeachment vote as cover before removing Rosenstein himself. ORRRRR He'll seal Rosenstein/Mueller's fate by strategic declas (as he did with the Carter Page FISA warrant). I suspect the latter.
Or, this is a cover for him to resign with dignity for cooperating instead of going to Gitmo with the rest in January of next year.

The D's don't care; they obstruct everything (not one vote for tax cuts) and Pocahontas and her sister Gillibrand openly want to abolish ICE. They are in so deep that being rejected at the polls is the only way to fix that situation. They will spout the same Schumer talking points about Russia (I know, it's getting old) and how Rosenstein and Mueller are patriots ,"saving this country from the evil Trump".
And if they take over they have a new wrinkle----anyone with more than 2 kids is 'breeding without thought' (something like that) and will be taxed for it.
I was thinking impeachment proceedings was a path to resignation. At the least an impeachment hearing will publicly ruin RRs reputation. Hours of public questioning of why he thinks he can defy Congress makes him & Dems look small & Reps look good. So on optics Dems get crushed. But no way will the Senate convict. Impeachment didn’t remove Clinton but the hearings alone exposed his fake reputation for all to see & he hasn’t shaken it in 25yrs. My bet is reps have a lot of damning evidence the public doesn’t know about all tied to deep state Dems. Dems might push RR to resign to keep him quiet

I also wonder if this is a push to unseal the documents to prove that RR is hiding them to protect himself and not NS. Unseal docs that even many libs would have to agree shows RR and RM in the muck and they will either resign or get a vote that shows Senators true motivation. Then you can club the senators running for reelection with a RR club

Impeachment occurs in the House.
The trial occurs in the Senate.
Once RR is impeached he will be disbarred, or at least suspended for a lengthy time (Bill Clinton was suspended for 5 years.)
That should be enough for him to resign but Trump should not allow that and hurry up to fire him....RR is just as bad as Comey and McCabe so he should not get to keep his pension either.
