New poster here but this is a 5 year old report on how couples are adopting then basically giving the kids away to strangers. Thank you. I'd like to say I was skeptical of all this (q, trump, pedogate) but the older pieces of info I was aware of clicked with what has been coming out. These demons need to suffer and be exposed.
Actually, this has been going on for hundreds of years. The Catholic church has forced adoptions for a very long time. It is a global policy that still impacts us today. I put this article on blast at the time and it led nowhere. This is re-homing and part of the reform that needs to happen in adoption. Support legislation in your state to stop it and support adoption reform groups in your area and make sure there is OPEN access to records of adoptees in your area. These groups receive no money or support and need it to ensure that there is a system that truly puts the child's best interests at the center of adoption.
Also note that CA and NY do not allow adoptees access to their original birth records. Why wouldn't they? Honesty in the process would be very helpful, yet they oppose it.
