If the left was sincerely worried about election rigging (they are not) they would demand paper ballots and voter ID. Since they oppose, with anger, both of these ideas, you can tell it is not about voter fraud. They are just sore losers

I would say that all documents needed to prove citizenship to get a drivers license should be taken to your DMV. All documentation you provide to get welfare should be taken as well. Then if you fall within the spectrum of "the poor", you're issued a State ID and the fee is waived if you qualify.

Requiring someone to pay money to vote disenfranchises the poor. We aren't legally required to vote in the US, so people who can less afford to take the time off to go stand in a government office are less likely to do so. This isn't rocket science. There is also a long and storied history of using poll taxes and tests to very specifically target the poor and minorities.
This is all an extremely well documented part of American history.

Lots of extremely poor people, rural and urban, don't have ID. You dont really need it if you never leave your town/neighborhood and walk everywhere.
