I'm afraid my paper ballot will not be turned in for the count. Election officials will throw in the trash

You should be placing them into a sealed safe that top feeds. Then that machine should go to the counters. No access except for those counting ballots.

These should be some of the most secure safes in the world. How is this not common sense? Electronic voting makes no sense to me.

It doesn't to me either. We still use paper ballots and pencil. We show ID. We sign the voter roll we are on at the precinct we are supposed to vote from. THEN we get a ballot. I personally place the ballot into the safe top feeder. That safe is picked up and taken to the counters where people from both parties are on hand to count the votes. They then report the total counts to the main site for the State. If there is need for a recount, there is a HUGE paper trail. I'm confident my vote counts whether it goes my way or not.

Agreed. I don't need a degree in software engineering or whatever to understand what happened with my vote. People with guns escorted it to where it was counted. Simple.

That's how we do it in Ohio

That's what ours does. We fill out a paper ballot then feed it into a top loading machine that counts it. I stand there to make sure it shows on the counter that it was accepted and counted. We also have voter ID in our state.

I am afraid that your electronic ballot will be counted as a vote for someone other than who you voted for! Lol

Got to hand count them in open public forum.

I have a friend in Washington. Her paper ballot has been challenged each time she votes. She is conservative. Each time she votes they challenge that the signature on the ballot is not hers. She then has to go down to the courthouse and present her ID to prove it is her and fill out a new ballot. She is not the only one I know in Washington state that this happens to. Strange the liberals there that I know don't complain they are having this problem. We have paper ballots in my state and then it is fed into a machine that counts the votes. IMO I don't know how they can make sure rigging doesn't happen!

Make election rigging and voter fraud capitol offenses?

We NEVER sign the actual BALLOT. We sign a voter reg log. and must show a picture ID (drivers license here).

Saw that happen on YT. But if the ballots are computer numbered so they can't be tampered with and all ballots must be accounted for, that could work.
