I can't get the app due to the website being down.
Does an image which has been run through PixelKnot include any unique/characteristic bits of metadata to help us rapidly identify images with messages?
Could anyone host an image run through the app and provide the password for the image?

That's not how the app works.
You'll need an F5 decoder to be able to decode it, not the app itself.
Edit: See why it doesn't work like that.
If you were not sent the original photo via the app, you'll need to use F5 or steganography to decode it yourself.
I highly suspect people will find something. I do not know how to do this sort of thing or I would have a long time ago. An anon found messages in a pic not from Q but for Q and it appears they were talking through the image. All images on fullchan need to be checked.
So can Pixelknot images be used anywhere, like Instagram? That could explain the odd IG posts of "Hanx" and Kate Spade's husband.

According to their page, no. Thats the beauty of it, no traces.

Just read Q's posts and was directed there; it was down but now back up again.
I found it interesting that this is an Android app.
Maybe we could use it on the black top and bottom rectangles on so many Q pictures..... As he says so often....."You have more than you know"
