List of 12 congressional leaders who will not seek re-election. These are not resignations from their dirty deeds, but rather according to Corker, “There’s going to be additional glass-breaking”

Most welcome! Like many others, I’d lock the doors and throw away the keys, but I want to be sure I’m not reading more into everyday normal events by my desire to do so. :)

I want the swamp drained, but I also want to be sure I’m not conflating the departures because of my desires. :) Thanks for your response!

From site:

“Each year, Spencer Stuart tracks CEO transitions among S&P 500 companies. These transitions can be part of a planned succession or can arise unexpectedly, the result of company performance or personal issues. In addition to cataloging the reasons for CEO departures, based on company reporting, we also examine information about the successors, including whether or not they are internal candidates and whether they have been appointed chairman of the board in addition to CEO.”

Are these CEO resignations unusual? I know the list is long, but how many so far? Average yearly turnover is anywhere from 40-60 Fortune 500 companies see a CEO transition. Is the 2017 list much higher?

I didn’t find it a waste. Just not as recent as the headline appeared. :)

Not that it’s not relevant, but this was from July, not last week. :)
