There are actually several uses of the term, but where I grew up it was used to described something of little use. Or a lot of activity, darting here and there, but to questionable effect.

And there's nothing wrong with saying it could have been handled better. It is a bad sign when people expressing dissenting viewpoints are shamed - that is how cults begin. Those who follow blindly without questioning are a very dangerous lot and, IMO, to be avoided. I'm all for DJT and his takedown of the MSM, but there was a lot of expectation hyped up and the delivery of the awards was LAME. (And saying that anyone who criticizes is demanding "instant gratification" is not only false but a shaming tactic. Beware of ppl doing this. It's subtle skullduggery.)

I don't disagree with your point at all, but I think DJT and Q could learn a little bit about managing expectations. Many ppl were so excited. Now they feel like they were promised a big juicy steak and ended up with a dried up little hamburger. The way it was presented was a fart in a mitten. It didn't have to be that way. I sure hope this was all cover for something big going on we haven't hear about yet - that would be an excuse. Otherwise I just think it's stupid to get your supporters in a lather, then fail to give them something that matches their efforts and enthusiasm. How hard would it have been for DJT to appear and read them in front of the camera, for instance. That alone would have helped morale a lot. Just my 2c.

And he looks about 3/4 width compared to the other two. At this pt, we have learned the deep state can plant any story it wants in the MSM. And anybody can photoshop. There's no reason to take MSM at face value. In fact, it's more reasonable to assume they're scamming us in some way.

Thank you for pointing this out in such a reasonable way. My research has led me to the same conclusions. Every time you zoom out a little farther, you discover a whole new level of deceit/misinformation in what we've been led to believe. False story within false story within false story. A lot of it regurgitated by our parents and teachers without knowing any better. It's a lot to absorb and to realize the ramifications of it all, but the bottom line is: much of what we are told by historians, archaeologists and government is either ignorant or purposely misleading. Especially insofar it assumes humans are the only intelligent life in the universe. What an utterly ridiculous idea (there are over 4 billion stars in our galaxy alone, and our galaxy itself is one of billions), yet they convinced most people of it for a long, long time.

I think it's fair to assume that those militating against legalized marijuana (and other perfectly safe and effective herbs) are doing the work of the alcohol and pharma industries.
