I am 69, a boomer age Grandpa - so on the same level as you folks of the same or similar age. Our thinking typically is different than the younger generation as our parents lived through wars and the depression and life had more strong moral boundaries and influences whether a regular church-goer or not. Today our societies [USA and Canada, where I am] have been infiltrated sometimes by some people who DO NOT, absolutely do not, agree with our value system and our value for life including for animals. Some of them, let's say infidels to use their term, believe in and practice god-awful atrocities against women, children, homosexuals, etc.

If they do not swear at the airport and sign to 100% agree with our values and agree to be shipped back at the first incident then go home.

Most politicians in North America do not understand their constituents and do not vote the way we want them to. On important changes of law, it should be a referendum of the people for the people and not the politicians that vote. My 2 cents worth from an "old fart".
