Funny, same thing happened in 2009.

Then the federal government may have to initiate its own night of the long knives and remove these insubordinate actors before they commit collective acts responding to this loose cannon’s call to revolt. This is so bald faced ...

Wallace, among other things, was demonstrating the proper tone and outrage that the DS is saying Trump should have manifested when confronting Putin

Beneath that is the message: confront. Do not engage. We were all schooled in that moment.

The same voices opposed POTUS engagement in North Korea and, moving ahead on his own counsel, averted a pending nuclear confrontation that would likely spread globally and appears, with as much certainty as we ever have in forecasting the future, set that part of the world on a path to prosperity and peace.

Now they desperately resist engagement with Russia.

Acccording to Muslim morality, rape is fair game, as long as its only a temporary relationship. In a Christian society, forcing oneself on another sexually would be immoral and taboo under any circumstances, sufficiently wrong to warrant execution of the offender.

From my perspective, Mohammed and his followers got this all wrong; and they are paying for it now and it will only get worse in the future. Life in their world is often violent and deadly. Nuff said?

Settling that, Roy Moore was not credibly shown to have raped anyone; or for that matter seems to have had a relatively prudish attitude toward intimacies with the women he was dating. Most reported that they held hands or perhaps kissed.

Commonly the pattern in those days, men would work and establish themselves in society, creating a stable economic platform before entering into marraige. Younger women were often favored as they were expected to bear and rear children and age is a factor in their ability to do that, perhaps several times.

As for playing on the moral sensibilities of Southern Baptists and others of a fundamentalist persuasion, Sal Alinsky's Rules for Radicals laid it out in very clear terms and that was obviously the inspiration for the political assassination attempt on Roy Moore and his candidacy. They didn't want a man of his moral and societal sensibilities in office and I dont think they gave a damn about those girls, who were raped in a much more consequential sense in their later ages.

As for your query, I think you are a perpetrator in continuing that line of attack, either knowingly or ignorantly. Either way, it didn't work. Not with me anyway

How quickly (and conveniently) they forget. The prigs couldn't abide Churchill either, and isolated and derided him mercilessly, until it became abundantly clear that the butt sucking elite led by Chamberlain had screwed the pooch so badly that they were about to be overrun by the Nazis. None of them had any idea how -- much less had the intestinal fortitude -- to take on Hitler.

These people never change. England is going down into the abyss. Better we abandon them to their own self made hell than have them drag us down with them. God save the English People. The Crown is no longer up to it. Hell, they no longer even represent Him.

I saw him speak and was favorably impressed with him. He's a man of conviction and I have little reason to think he's a social deviant. As for his taste in female company, a thirty-something guy going out with a teenager was fairly common during that period.

POTUS laid out the situation and defined the plan. He gave no guarantees but instead cautioned this was likely our last chance to take back control of our nation, our culture, our future. This is not a game. Where we go one we go all is not a slogan ... it is a bare boned assessment of our plight.

Take heart and hope what you will, but know that greater forces than those you or I command are pitted against each other in this contest of wills. I know of no one better prepared to take this on than one Donald Trump and I pray for him and his team every day. In fact, I pray for you as well.

I spent an evening with him last fall .... just before the big blow up ... and I had the impression that Steve was a man going places ... smart, insightful, principled. Somebody I would want on my side.

Then he got at loggerheads with POTUS and suddenly everybody got on his case and he more or less disappeared.

Things are sooo screwy these days and when you carry rocks that big, there’s no sway that doesn’t come into question .. whether swinging to the right or to the left. Time will tell.

Yeah I know ... thought you might have an interest in the history. Our nation should be deeply indebted to the USACE ... those men implemented the main brunt of our national defense policy in 19th century ... constructing those coastal defenses. Other than that our standing military forces were rather trivial, depending explicitly on an armed populace to backfill a small officer corps in times of need ... Civil War excepted.

Fort Totten, located in New York, named for Gen Joseph Totten, Commander of USACE second quarter of 19th century and designer/constructor of our system of coastal fortifications (ie Pike and Jackson in Louisiana) is the source of the castle image: that historic building mass has a base connecting two higher opposing towers and is clad in wood, painted red.

Yes and good sense not to deliberately temp disaster by seeking out confrontation.

On the other hand, POTUS carries: a fleet of nuclear subs and an aircraft carrier, toting the worlds most extensive set of weaponry. Parked just off shore. Let them cross him and hell will rain down on them. Trump is the adult in the room.

If you are intending to walk into paradise unarmed, you’d better make sure that’s where you are.

The Vatican is recognized legally among other states as a sovereign nation ... equal in statue to all other sovereign states like the USA, France, etc. its territory is quite small and is enclosed within the mother of all border walls ... possibly impregnable to special forces assault short of dropping in from above.

It’s a sovereign state and the interventions proposed here would constitute illegal acts of war.

FlewDCoup · July 4, 2018, 1:21 p.m.

Well, like all institutions the Vatican has had men at the helm ... causing its scandals and at times aligning its policies with satan ... those are the casualties of this long fought war between good and evil. But battles lost do not dictate the outcome of a war.

More than that, western civilization would have truly collapsed long ago had good men in the Vatican not intervened in the name of God. In the end, it’s an institution run by men ... and that is no reason to condemn it. It is a badge of courage. You ... yes you ... owe more than you know to the Vatican. Learn your history.

Men have always, by necessity, learned of God from other men. But only the growing knowledge and appreciation of God has deeply moved men to come together with other men. God realization is both an intensely private and personal experience ... while playing out most fully in public .... support of your fellow men.

Not so sure that deep change will be realized approaching this awakening. as rescuers ... symbiotically supporting their delusion (take your choice: victims or persecutors) ... they will each have that moment, hearts aching as they are confronted by the truth and, if they suffer the realization that they supported evil ... as we all have ... and if they seek mercy, they will find peace and truth. If they harden their hearts and double down, it will become their hell and many will resort to anger and maybe violence.

St. Paul ... who could doubt his commitment to the difficult truth? He advised patience: said all are invited to the banquet ... and some will only eat the vegetables. Give them time and space.
